Wind energy has captivated the interest of the public through its significant benefits to the environment and the increased knowledge that fossil fueled power plants are causing significant damage to our forests and water resources.  However, wind power is controversial based on wind turbine generators’ sheer size and their visual impacts to the viewscape.  The beauty of a wind turbine is subjective.

Adirondack Wind Energy Park has highlighted these differences based on the Project’s ideal location in a formally industrial area within the Adirondack Park.  Environmentalists, political figures, and the general public each will weigh into the opinion forum with thoughtful ideas and expression.

This section presents a wide array of opinion on the Project. Click on the links above to find out more.
