Dear Jim,

 

I am writing to express my support for the potential installations of wind turbines on the Barton Mines / Gore Mt. property.

 

The plan to develop the properties to produce renewable energy from wind will produce sustainable economic development for the Town of Johnsburg and surrounding areas. The windmill project will create construction jobs and in turn, promote local businesses by the demand of their services. This project may also lead to increased property tax revenue and increased tourism.

 

I encourage the Adirondack Park Agency to act favorably in regard to this application and toward related future development plans Barton Mines is investigating.
